“When we get down to the fundamentals, we all want the same things for Michigan: strong economic growth, safe communities, good-paying jobs, strong infrastructure, and well-funded K-12 education – regardless of party affiliation,” said Governor Gretchen Whitmer. “I’ll work with anyone to get things done and have reached across the aisle to sign over 1,000 bipartisan bills that move Michigan forward and brighten our future. This campaign is about bringing people together – Republican and Democrat – and I’m grateful for the support of this group.”

We Are Republicans. Here’s Why We Are Voting for Governor Whitmer.

As Republicans with experience in industries ranging from business and health care to law and education, we come from different backgrounds — but there are two things we can agree on: Michigan is the greatest state in the country and Governor Whitmer should be the one to lead it.

We need solutions and real action to continue strengthening our state, not dangerous policies and extreme rhetoric.

We believe in compromise and pragmatic leadership. Most importantly, we believe in building a stronger Michigan. Governor Whitmer is a common-sense leader who has proven that she will work with anyone to get things done for Michigan families and we are proud to support her for re-election.

Governor Whitmer has shown she can bring people together to make progress. Governor Whitmer understands that when we focus on the fundamentals, there is more that unites us than divides us.

We are Republicans, but we are Michiganders first — and we are proud to support Gretchen Whitmer for re-election this fall.
